As reported by Hungarian journalist Katalin Halmai, Hungarian Minister of Chancellery Gergely Gulyás announced that the European Commission’s conditions for the adoption of the recovery plan have been accepted by the government in 4 areas: ✔️ Government will reduce the proportion of single-bidder tenders to below 15%. ✔️ The courts will decide whether to launch an investigation & prosecute alleged cases of fraud. ✔️ The authorities will provide enough time for public consultation before legislation is made. ✔️ Hungary should use a significant part of EU funds to achieve the highest possible level of energy independence.
