PermalinkToday, EU leaders are gathering in Brussels for a European Council meeting. They will discuss the latest developments in relation to Russia’s war against Ukraine and will also consider economic, military, political and humanitarian support to Ukraine. President of the European Council, Charles Michel, will invite leaders to grant candidate status to Ukraine and Moldova. Leaders will hold a strategic debate on how to reinforce EU’s relations with its European partners, including on how to foster political dialogue and strengthen the security, stability and prosperity of the European continent.
